A full scale replica of the Santa Maria galleon was built in 2017 by the Nao Victoria Foundation.
The Nao Santa Maria replica in Huelva, Spain, was built as part of a cultural and historical initiative. The replica was constructed using traditional shipbuilding techniques and materials and is a faithful reproduction of the original ship. It is 200 tons in weight and measures 29 meters in length and 8 meters in width, with a maximum height of 17 meters from the waterline to the top of the mainmast.
The Nao Santa Maria replica serves as a floating museum and tourist attraction, allowing visitors to explore the ship and learn about its history and significance in the Age of Discovery.
