A fine teak ship model of the Baltimore Clipper Harvey. Built using a copper pinned wooden plank on frame.
The Harvey was built for speed with the role of quick blockades and chases. Just like the Albatross, it is built with many sails and with a very little number of items on deck to reduce the amount of weight carried. It is the good ratio between the thrust obtained from its sails and the weight that made the Harvey such an effective clipper.
