    The RMS Titanic was a luxury British steamship that sank in 1912 killing 1500 people, including passengers and crew. The Titanic hit an iceberg off the coast of Newfoundland in the North Atlantic on April 15th during its maiden voyage. There were 2,240 passengers and crew on board.
